Last week, John's grandmother passed away. We went to Kentucky for a few days for the funeral. I'm glad we got to go. It was good to see everyone, and Grace was a real bright spot for the family. She kept us laughing... and very busy!! The house was definitely not babyproof, so we were constantly chasing her down. Overall, she did really well. Most people commented on what a good baby she was, so that made me feel a lot better.

We're still adjusting to the time change. For us, the time change happened when we got back. With going to a different time zone, we stayed on Texas time once time changed. It's been rough adjusting now that we're home. Grace is still off schedule. The last couple of time changes have been so much easier! 

Unfortunately, John got sick, along with several other family members. They all caught the stomach bug that was going around. Luckily, Grace and I didn't catch it. That would have been rough if we all would have gotten it! He's finally feeling better, thankfully. 

Junior high football is over, and high school football is week-to-week, now that we are in the playoffs. We were 2nd in our district, so we advance. The team we're playing has scouted us twice! Hopefully we'll advance, but if we don't, I'm ok with that too, since basketball season is already starting!! Crazy overlapping seasons!
